After a productive 32 years of meeting as Whatcom Women’s Network, a quorum of Whatcom Women’s Network members have agreed to end our formal incorporation and to cease operations.

Women’s opportunities for participation in all areas of society and business have changed for the better in the past three decades. In addition to online resources, there are many good local opportunities for women to help advance their personal and business success. We will maintain this website for a few final months in 2026 and welcome you to contact our members. Best wishes to everyone and thanks for your support for Whatcom Women’s Network.

Whatcom Women’s Network is a welcoming group of professional businesswomen who use the power of networking to make business connections, promote their business, make and receive member-to-member referrals, and build new friendships.

Our meetings are the ideal way to stay focused on growing relationships, generating business, and keeping your business top-of-mind with potential clients and referral partners.

A strong referral network is one of the most effective approaches to marketing your product or service.

We strive to serve our community by growing local businesses, supporting local charities, and fostering a network of relationships.

On average, word-of-mouth drives $6 trillion in annual global spending and is responsible for 13% of all sales. Word-of-mouth is even more effective than paid ads, resulting in five times more sales. 28% of people say that word-of-mouth increases brand affinity (a customer’s common values with a brand).
